VP8870 Portable Multimedia Viewer


  Vosonic VP8870 is a powerful multimedia storage viewer with 4.3-inch color TFT LCD and high resolution of 800x480 pixels. To upgrade this compact viewer, Vosonic Technology enhances VP8870 with AV OUT function. It is easy to share favorite videos/images with your family through attached remote control.

AV OUT
Not only personal movie theater to view the movies anytime and anywhere, VP8870 AV out function even let you connect the device to TV and share the movie and photo on TV with your friends.
  • Play Motion: JPEG in AVI and MOV, MPEG-1,MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and Xvid file format.
  • Quickly fast forward, rewind and pause when watching your video.
 
Detachable 2.5" SATA hard drive 
VP8870 provides infinite storage expansion via a customer swappable internal 2.5" hard drive (SATA Interface, 40~500GB). You can save all your personal data: music, photos, videos and documents in this super portable storage device.
 
Multi-cards Reader/Writer 
VP8870 supports all memory cards such as Compact Flash, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard and 4 other formats, Mini-SD, RS-MMC, MS Duo and MS Pro Duo with a adapter (not supplied). It uses fast USB 2.0 interface for file transfer to your PC. Connecting the VP8870 to your PC, it works as external hard drive enclosure and multi card reader/writer.
 
High speed data back up from memory cards
VP8870 supports to copy files from memory cards to the internal hard drive directly (No need PC). You can backup your pictures on the memory cards anytime, anywhere during your trip. The transfer rate from 1GB CF card (with support of the Ultra DMA protocol) to HDD can be up to 10MB/sec.
 
  Reliable data backup from memory cards
There are two types of data backup for your selection.
  • Full Backup: You can backup the whole folder (including it's subfolder and files) from memory card(s) to internal storage (Hard Drive).
  • Photo Backup: The Photo Backup allows you to quickly search the digital images by saving the subfolder only.* Please make sure that you have DCIM (Digital Camera Image) folder on your memory card.
After backup, you can choose the two selections for the next step. 
  • Compare: The verify function allows you double check if the copied files are exactly corresponding with the flash memory card.
  • View: Allows you to quickly view the copied files.
 
A speedy RAW image viewer
To cater to the high needs of professional photographers, VP8870 not only supports to display photo files in JPEG but also RAW formats. With VP8870's powerful data management system and CPU, photographers can view their RAW photos on VP8870 quickly and directly without installing any software. ( see specification for the supported models )

Photo Viewer
VP8870 works as photo album with huge memory. The zoom in/out, rotate and slide show functions make the photo display more interesting. RAW support and EXIF and histogram data display is useful for professional photographer.

Voice Recorder

No need to use the traditional bulk video recorder at home anymore. The small VP8860 builds in video recording function. You can record the video from TV, DVD or satellite receiver.

With built-in USB Host port to connect other USB devices
Note:  The VP8870 USB Host function only works with USB 2.0 Flash Drive now.

No PC necessary , USB Host function allows you to transfer the files directly from USB Flash Drive to VP8870.

 
 
Direct printing support
VP8870 has Direct printing function (PictBridge Compliant). You can connect it to printer to print out your pictures without PC.
 

Connecting VP8870 with external battery pack (Optional)
Connecting the 11000 mAh powerful external battery to VP8870 or other portable devices, ex: PDA , Cell Phone, MP3 Player and Digital Camera to extend the battery operating time.
 

Easy to replace the Li-ion battery (NP-100 Compatible)
VP8870 is compatible with rechargeable battery model: NP-100 (2500mA) which can be easily got an extra one
